Dietetics Students Visit the KY Capital

Dietetics Students at the Capital

Dietetic Students in Ms. Harrington’s Community Nutrition class visited the KY Capital in Frankfort as part of the KY Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Legislative Day. They advocated for bills related to reducing food insecurity and reimbursement for dietetic services. They were able to meet with legislators and other state officials.

ADM Students Enter Design Competition

Dress for Success in Lexington sponsored a design competition entitled “Recycle the Runway” on September 20th.    Designers paid 25 dollars for a garbage bag full of ”unfit” clothing, and they had 8 weeks to turn it into a runway ready outfit.
