Food, Fashion, and Family in Florence (Winter Term)
Students of all majors are invited every year to experience Florence, Italy in the 3-week winter course Food, Fashion, and Family. It is one of the most popular study abroad courses on campus!
Study the integration of foods and nutrition, fashion and apparel, and children and families within the context of the Italian culture. The course will emphasize the interdisciplinary nature of these fields and the benefits to individuals, families, and communities.
You will study the language and access the rich resources of Florence by visiting food markets, wineries and culinary schools, fashion design houses, programs for children and families, and textile factories.
