Applied Human Sciences is a discipline that combines aspects of social and natural sciences and views the family in all its diverse forms as the cornerstone of a healthy society. Our mission is to improve the well-being of the family through programs that educate, influence public policy, and help families put research-based knowledge to work in their lives.  The field represents many disciplines including nutrition, food management, early childhood, family studies, sexual well-being, and human development.

Whether you pursue a degree in Child & Family Studies,  Family & Consumer Sciences Education or Food and Nutrition, you will learn through vibrant programs led by faculty who enjoy teaching.
