Child & Family Studies Practicum

If you plan to enroll in a CDF Practicum Class (351, 399, 443, or 450), you must apply and complete special requirements before you receive an override to register.  Follow the steps below.

1).  Obtain an application form in Burrier 102 and submit by the due date.  

CDF 443 & 450 – Have FIRM  Application Deadlines:    

►SPRING CLASS – Due December 1      
►SUMMER OR FALL CLASS – Due May 1

CDF 399 & 351  
We recommend the dates above, but there is not a firm deadline to apply. 
 

2). Complete CDF SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS.
      Background checks can take up to 2 weeks.  We recommend that you do it early.

3). Register
     DO NOT submit an on-line override request.  You will be notified by email when you have approval to register. 

4). Attend Orientation
    All students approved will be notified by email of a mandatory orientation.
